Affliction Amidst Self Torment

Chest collapsing,

Gasping for air as you watch me bleed.

Four more jabs to my heart,

As I watched your emotionless face disregard me.

It’s not like you to watch me drown,

To be so disconnected,

As if I was nobody.

Blood dripping from my body,

Filling up existing stains,

Noticing across from me,

You too,

Bled from your heart.

The emotionless expression taking on a whole new meaning,

You’re dying too.
