Poem: The Version of Ourselves We Hide Away in Order to Fit Into The Box of What is Our Society.

Idolized in the minds eye,
We grasp for answers,
But fear the seeking of life,
We question our thoughts,
Scared of what's to come to light,
We distract our eyes to a screen,
But they burn with headaches from the written lies,

We trap ourselves in boxes,
Forgetting to open them…

To begin our day

Brings means to an end,

Deciding a path to choose,

And who remains your friend,

Deciding a destiny,

Which your fate lies in the end,

No bad days,

Because rain eventually ends,

And out comes a rainbow

To shine new light on life again.
